Who is Marmotta PhotoArt?

My name is Krys Bailey and Marmotta PhotoArt represents much of my published photo collection.

I live in Southampton, England, and have been taking photographs since I was just old enough to hold a camera.  A geographer by education, I became inspired to photograph landscapes, most notably mountains, with the Italian Dolomites, Chile and Peru being my favourites.

Animals, flowers and macro photography have become areas where I have become increasingly interested, the main emphasis now being on animals.  In January 2011  we took a trip to Antarctica and the Sub-Antarctic Islands where there is amazing wildlife and scenery and I am currently making photographs from this location available.

After many years of using traditional film media, I am now a dedicated digital photographer, enjoying the freedom, flexibility and high quality of the digital SLR.  My equipment includes professional Canon DSLRs and lenses.
